According to the dictionary, art is defined as “the quality, production, expression, or realm, according to aesthetic principles, of what is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance.” However, at AED, we’ve taken this a step further. We’ve taken “more than ordinary significance”, flushed it down the toilet, and replaced it with mind-blowing designs that transcend even your wildest dreams. If ordinary art is what you’re looking for, then this is not the place. At AED, we like to test the imagination and push your sensitivities to the outermost limits.
We’ll paint anything you want us to paint…well, almost anything! We’ve created logos, tattoo designs, apparel designs, album covers, helmet art, and custom artwork on helmets and automotive parts/accessories, just to name a few. We’ve also created artwork for reputable companies such as Harley Davidson, the Hard Rock Cafe, Disney, and Warner Brothers. If you’re interested, contact us and let us know SPECIFICALLY what you want included. We’ll take care of the rest.
Asia Eng was born and raised in Oakland, California. At the age of five, she was diagnosed with a hearing and speech impediment. However, she was determined to overcome this challenge and learned to use art as a means to communicate. As a result, her art has flourished exponentially.
To date, Asia has been featured in publications such as Blue Canvas Magazine, Giant Robot Magazine, and others. Her art has also been exhibited in galleries including: LeBasse Galleries, Cartoon Network Studios, and the Japanese American National Museum, to name a few. She has also been commissioned as a freelance artist for notable companies such as Walt Disney, Harley Davidson, Hard Rock Café, and Warner Brothers. Her art is now exhibited worldwide.
Asia Eng also enjoys sharing her love of art with those equally passionate. She is an art instructor and also a private tutor for children wishing to develop their artistic skills. In fact, one of her students recently won the 2012 People’s Choice Award for a painting Asia assisted with. That painting is now displayed in the White House.
Through her many artistic endeavors, Asia has ventured into the motorsports arena and admires the dedication and devotion within the community. She has custom-painted a helmet for Jessi Combs, a racer, car welder, and TV personality; and now according to the Guinness Book of World Records, the fastest woman on the planet (on four wheels). Asia has painted a helmet for Jessi Combs for the 2014 King of the Hammers, which she had placed first in her class. Asia has also painted helmets for Mel Wade, owner of a premier off road shop, Off Road Evolution. Mel Wade has sported Asia’s helmets in his 2014 and 2012 King of the Hammers campaign. She has also custom painted helmets for motorcycle, dirt bike, and off road enthusiasts. Through AED, Asia is now poised to contribute her own unique and innovative designs to the motorsports community.
